Arrangements for 40 Pediatric Cancer Patients to Visit Kever Rashbi

1

40 pediatric cancer patients will be transported in ambulances to Kever Rashbi in Meron due to the efforts of Lev Malka.

The operation will take place for a second consecutive year. Children who are wheelchair bound will be transported to the tziyun on Lag B’Omer free of charge, with each ambulance staffed with the required number of volunteers to assist the patient.

Rabbi Avraham Aberman explains the organization has received requests from sick children who dream of getting to Meron on Lag B’Omer. Since they cannot ambulate independently they are unable to make the trip so Lev Malka has stepped up to meet the challenge and turn their dreams into reality. The trip is especially difficult on account of the climb visitors must make at the end to make their way to the tziyun.

In addition, the Hachnasas Orchim Rashbi headed by Rav Carlebach will host the 40 children, providing them with a banquet following their tefilos at the tziyun. The Yeshivas Mekubalim Rashbi will also hold a special tikun for all of the children to have a refuah shleima.

Lev Malka officials point out for them it is truly an honor to host the children. Rav Aberman adds that with HKBH’s assistance, next year the children will get to the tziyun on their own, in good health.

Next year noone should go because mashiach will be here and there will be techiyas hameisim………….

  2. There will be a period of time in between moshiach’s arrival and recitals hameysim-40 years according to one opinion. So He’s ok saying that. But there are many opinions that say that the great tzaddikim will arise from the dead immediately prior to moshiach’s arrival, so he’s probably wrong in saying that
