Re comment no. 5: You are wrong for 2 reasons (3 reasons if spelling the mayor’s name counts). First of all, this article did not report that the press blackouts were for security purposes. (If it did, I would be suspicious that the “security purpose” is bogus.) Second of all, you have been wrong about my opinions in the past, and so nothing you attribute to me can be “surely.” As you may know, all politicians run on “transparency” until they are elected. If and when elected, they usually find reasons why the public does not need to know. This guy is no different.

When you want my opinion, please ask. And generally, I will give it without your asking.

Those meetings with such luminaries as al sharpton and pussy riot mustve been a highly intellectual exchange of ideas. I don’t blame de blassio for banning the media from those think tanks.

I actually think he’s very clever because the media always get it wrong and if you send it by twitter or facebook it will actually mean what he really wanted it to mean
