yermia, I find it amazing that you quote the mishna from the Avos on reverence towards malchus, while in a previous thread your comment was anything but reverential towards Israel’s prime minister. Or you believe we must revere and kiss up Kerry only because he’s a Gentile?

If snowden will return he will be thrown into jail with no due process of law – the damage will be assessed by the likes of Mr. Clapper, who has lied to congress repeatedly, with no consequences.
Snowden will be assumed to have caused grave damage although any evidence will be suppressed as ‘state secrets’. There is no point in his coming to the states. He will merely cost taxpayers money to provide for him in jail for life.
Mr. Kerry should man up and go swimming with crocodiles. That would be really brave!

I’m not following Mr. Kerry’s logic. Particularly in light of Mr. Snowden’s actions demonstrating he doesn’t agree with everything America does, Mr. Kerry still feels that “If he cares so much about America and he believes in America” then it automatically follows that “he should trust the American system of justice”? How so?
