I think it’s a great idea. It is true that tehilim is being recited in all of the shuls and that everyone is doing his part. However, think of the message that the three families will receive when someone shows them that in Monsey, NY the Jewish community is shares their pain and is coming out to daven. Think of the chizuk you are giving them. I am not sure how much it costs but whoever underwrote this has done a great chessed to the the three families and even a greater chesed to all the people (including me and two of my sons) who will, please hashem, attend this event.

I think every Khila should come together in their own shul and daven and say tehilim, there is no need to rent Stadiums it’s a waste of money

Why should Lakewwod do this? They are saying tehilim everyday in the Yeshiva Botei Medrash.

Why don’t you say that Riverdale should do this in Yankee Statium? Or Long-Island people in the Coliseum?

I suggest that lakewood should do this as well, in the blue claws stadium. I think there are enough frum askanim that can pull it off.
