The day’s events began with a pro-Palestine rally attended by thousands of people. That event was peaceful but a later event, which seems to have involved 150 anti-Israel protesters turned violent. That crowd gathered outside the Abarbanel Shul in Paris, and participants hurled rocks and any object they could find at the shul. There are some reports that a few thousand people may still be rioting there.
The Yidden that were there were trapped, holed up inside as they feared the angry anti-Semitic mob that waited outside.
The information from the scene is limited but it does appear that a yeshiva bochur was attacked and he sustained serious injuries. It is unclear if weapons were used or if he was beaten and if he was transported to a local hospital.

According to an article in a French paper, two synagogues were attacked.

Unsurprisingly, French media have been fairly quiet about this – their Muslim compatriots are much more interested in what’s going on in Gaza or even Ukraine.
In order to further the “eternal victim” narrative and try to evoke some Holocaust imagery, YWN chose to leave out information that the JDL was there and helped to diffuse the situation.

the french hate the muslims more than we do. they are like cockroaches in their midst. they have tried making laws against them but it does help.
the french muslims have taken advantage of french democracy to carve a very serious niche in french society that is very anti-french.
pity the Jews there, and pity the french. The Jews can come to Israel, but the french are stuck with the arabs.
What do you expect from France, a nation that owes its existence to the US and has the largest Muslim population in Europe.
