Terrorist Tunnel Leads to S. Area Kibbutz


hamA senior IDF officer reported on Sunday morning that a “significant tunnel’ originating in Gaza was discovered in Kibbutz Netiv HaAsarah. The kibbutz is located in the Ashkelon Coast Regional Council.

Walla News added on Sunday morning that since the beginning of Operation Protective Edge there has been over 2,600 IDF sorties against terrorists. Since the beginning of the ground operation, 470 targets were attacked. In addition, 15 terrorists were taken into custody.

  1. Pardon my ignorance but once a tunnel is found can’t explosives be dropped into it to destroy or at least clog it thus ending its use?
