Health Minister Yael German explained on Sunday, 29 Tammuz that despite repeated efforts to get humanitarian aid to the wounded and chronically ill in Gaza, Hamas prevents the assistance from entering the area.

Magen David Adom blood bank services officials have offered an air drop of badly needed units of blood. German explained Hamas is doing its utmost to prevent the wounded and chronically ill from reaching the IDF field hospital operating the Erez Crossing, on the Gazan border. She reported during her Sunday morning visit there were 18 Gazans being treated at that facility.

She adds that “the supplies are ready”, explaining there are shipments of supplies and medications but Hamas refuses to permit Israeli agencies to deliver the needed items to Gaza.
