Guard Shoots Woman in the Leg at the Kosel

mdan20:31 IL: A woman who appears to have been dressed with blankets was viewed as suspicious by a security guard at the Kosel. The guard instructed the woman to stop, but she did not heed his instruction, continuing to enter the Kosel Plaza.

According to the preliminary report, the guard carried out the protocol for such a case, firing a warning shot in the air. The woman still continued, at which time he aimed and shot her in a leg.

The woman is being transported to a local hospital with a non life threatening gunshot injury. Police are investigating.
