You’re clueless. There are many overweight baseball players. He’s a pitcher so he doesn’t need to be trim and fit to run the bases… He’s still in better shape than you even with his gut. I bet he can outdo you in the gym or on the field in any area by far. Many football players for example offensive linemen, are overweight and have a “boich” and are tremendous athletes. I’m sorry but you really know nothing on the subject.
