MK Moses: The Government Should End its Tenure Now

mosesDuring an address from the Knesset plenum, MK (Yahadut Hatorah) Eliezer Menachem Moses calls on the current administration to end its tenure for the good of the nation. He accused the administration of busying itself with bizarre legislation instead of addressing worrisome and serious matters that impact most citizens of the country. “A published survey shows that 95% of the nation’s poor do not believe there is hope. 61% of the poor say that their situation has deteriorated in the last year. The poor are becoming poorer!”

Moses explains that when the Knesset winter session began, citizens were asked what matters they feel should be addressed by elected officials and what are their expectations from them. 80% responded the main issue for them is the cost of living while a mere 4% responded they wish to see a change in legislation pertaining to religion and state.

“Instead of addressing deepening poverty and providing a solution for the nation’s poor, poverty continues to increase and the prime minister addresses side issues. This is a government that has turned the tables and its confusing citizens and it should immediately terminate its tenure.
