The residents of a building on Nurit Street in the Kiryat Menachem neighborhood of Jerusalem were evacuated due to a strong smell of gas on Sunday, 10 Adar. Authorities are reporting that evidence on the scene points to an intentional act of sabotage involving the building’s gas lines causing a gas leak.

In the past, Arab terrorists have sabotaged gas lines to perpetrate a terror attack.

Residents were since permitted to reenter their apartments as police and other agencies are investigating.
