In what appears to have been a criminal and not a terrorist incident, two people were wounded by gunfire near Bnei Brak on Sunday night 2 Nissan. The calls came in to the Magen David Adom dispatcher minutes before 22:00. A 24-year-old male is reported in serious condition and a young lady is described in light condition from the gunfire.

Police later learned the two were seated in a vehicle on Sokolov Street in Ramat HaSharon and shots were fired at them. They then sped off and headed to the Hello Teiman gas station at the entrance to the Torah city, Ichud Hatzalah, MDA and police responded. The victims were transported to Tel Hashomer Hospital.
