A Painfully Unforgettable Friday Night Seuda for 250 IDF Paratroopers

idfApproximately 250 paratroopers in the 202nd Battalion who spent Shabbos on the Golan Heights explain the food they received on Friday night for dinner had a bad smell. The soldiers are taking part in a major training exercise in the area.

The soldiers told officials in the camp the food did not smell good, speaking about the sautéed chicken they were served. The food was not replaced and those officers and soldiers who ate the dinner complained of abdominal pains and diarrhea.

The army is investigating the incident along with military medical and health personnel. A decision must be made regarding the continuation of the training exercise depending on the condition of those who took ill.

  1. DID THE STUBBORN CAFETERIA WORKERS ALSO EAT IT THE CONTAMINATED FOOD??
OR MAYBE, FOR THEMSELVES THEY “REPLACED THE BAD FOOD”?
THEY SHOULD BE FORCED TO EAT IT THEMSELVES!

  2. Seeing the headline, I wondered oy vey, who knows what happened? Some terrorist ambushed them in the middle of “Menucha ve’simcha” or something. It’s not the first time army rations went bad. I realize it’s unfortunate and unpleasant, but Baruch Hashem it wasn’t exactly a life threatening situation. That should be the worst thing they ever have to face! I hope they recover soon.
