It is a remarkable testament to the entire community that funds, leads and volunteers for such a special operation.
Unfortunately, in these tough times, there are families requiring help to make this costly Yom Tov even after many have been helped by the leadership through skills training classes and a job placement desk.

Yira – what a strange comment. How can we not be proud of the Chesed – Mi K’amcho Yisroel. The deliveries of food to these families contain WAY more than Idaho potatoes. Unfortunately, there are many families that need help and its alwahys been this way. It’s our responsibility to help them. Where is our leadership you are asking? I don’t get what’s bothering you.

Perplexed.
Should we be proud of the Chesed? Or should we be astounded at the enormous amount of normal families who can not afford to buy, on their own, Idaho Potatoes.
