In other words, until the Zionists formally invaded in 1948, Jews did daven at the Kosel, as is known. Only after the Zionists invasion did the Zionists lose that privilege for Klal Yisrael.

As well, in 1967, the overall war was far from miraculous, as per the CIA’s web site. And it is not “we” who got the Kosel back, but the Zionists who sort of got it back, subject to the whims of the Arabs on Har HaBayis which is controlled as per Israel’s request by the Muslim Waqf.

Finally, it seems odd to read that the Arabs wanted to “annihilate E”Y” when, of course, it is not possible to annihilate a land but rather its people.

So, in other words, yet another “perk” of Zionism is that in 1967, the Arabs tried to expel the Zionists from E”Y and, in doing so, threatened all the Jews in E”Y, Zionist and non-Zionist alike.

Incorrect. Jews didn’t control it in ’67 and don’t control it now. The Muslim Waqf controls the Temple Mount.

Also do not forget the only reason we couldn’t go to the Koself between ’48 and ’67, even though we were able to go to the Kosel for centuries up until ’48, was because the zionists went to war to take over the land.
