I am not downplaying the risks, but it is nothing compared to the dangers of feral dog packs. That is a true and existing danger, as are all the rats and mice over-producing and carrying disease.

I think people can learn not to feed the coyotes and to keep their garbages properly secure as people have to know who live in bear country, and not to approach a young pup, as the mother may decide to protect it (viciously)- I understand that.
