i don’t know what’s behind what he’s doing, but he’s a grat mekubal, and if you look closely you’ll see that the leaves are from an olive tree – בניך כשתילי זיתים – i imagine there’s something sublime behind it all.
and yes, rs9 is right – don’t just label people…
imagine labeling Rav Moshe Feinstein as weird b/c he’s doing something you dont understand…
