Police say early morning gunfire struck a school bus in Washington Heights. There were no children on board.
The NYPD says the bus driver was not injured.
It happened around 6:30 a.m. Monday on 164th Street and Amsterdam Avenue.
Police say the shots were fired from an unknown direction.
There are no arrests.
