Tour de Simcha To Kick Off Today – To Arrive At Camp Simcha On Tuesday Afternoon


tdsThis week marks the 4th annual Tour de Simcha, which is an all-female cycling event that attracts cyclists of varying skill levels, who commit to train and raise money to benefit children with cancer.

Tour de Simcha is a project of Chai Lifeline, which is an international children’s health support organization that enables very sick children, their families and communities to cope with the crises and long term emotional, social, and financial challenges of pediatric illness or loss.

The 72-mile bicycle ride raises funds to give children with cancer or other serious illnesses the summer of a lifetime at Camp Simcha, which is an overnight camp for children and teens with cancer and other hematologic illnesses.

With over 125 riders scheduled to participate, this year’s Tour de Simcha is expected to raise approximately $500,000 to benefit children with cancer.

This year’s event kicks off at the Hilton Woodcliff Lake, which is located at 200 Tice Boulevard, Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, today, Monday, July 6 at 5:00 PM..

The riders will depart from the Hilton Woodcliff Lake tomorrow, Tuesday, July 7 at 6:30 AM.

The riders will cross the “world’s greatest finish line” at Camp Simcha, in Glen Spey, New York, tomorrow, July 7 at 3:00 PM, where they will celebrate with the children of Camp Simcha.
