I get paid to solve problems that people or organizations have. I pay taxes on this income.
If I grow a beard and put on a big black or fur hat and solve problems in a religious melieu and get paid for it I don’t have to pay taxes on this income?

They are not avoiding taxes. The money is going to support needy families, and sick people. It is going to buy food for the hungry and get medical help for those who can’t afford it. Also free loans are given from this money. People donate money to them to distribute to others. All this is tax-deductable anyway. The rest of the money, their salaries, they pay tax on.

Wow. I am shocked that the Gabbaim are admitting that the Rabbonim and Mekubalim are actually involved in tax evasion and are rationalizing it. Is tzedakah really a heter for violating dina demalchusa dina and gezeila? I am shocked and appalled.
