Police Nab Kfar Kara Ring that Attacked Soldiers And Stole Their Weapons

arrest2Police arrested Arabs from the Galil community of Kfar Kara who were part of a ring that would travel to the Binyamina train station and take weapons from IDF soldiers, mostly on weekends. They would follow soldiers to their homes and when no one was home, they would steal their weapons which they sold on the black market.

In the video we hear the voice of Coastal District Police Chief Commander Benny Avila. Police fear that these weapons made their way to crime families as well as terrorists, earning big money for the thieves.

Police rented an apartment in the Zichron area and undercover police dressed in IDF uniform and were at the train station, attracting the thieves, who were apprehended when they broke into the home rented by police, leading authorities to their stash of weapons.
