Interior Minister Silvan Shalom met secretly with PA (Palestinian Authority) chief negotiator Dr. Saeb Erekat in Amman as a step towards jump-starting the stalled negotiating process between Israel and the PA. Shalom, who is in charge of talks between Israel and the PA met in Amman last week.

Other than saying the meeting was held in a positive atmosphere, no information on what was discussed was released.
