Obama To Speak With Jewish Groups On Iran Deal

irPresident Barack Obama is using a Friday webcast to try to allay concerns from Jewish communities about the nuclear agreement with Iran.

Obama will deliver remarks about the agreement and take questions from participants. The webcast is being organized by two major Jewish organizations that have held similar events with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz.

The Israeli government adamantly opposes the deal signed by the U.S., Iran and five world powers. The agreement seeks to keep Iran from building a nuclear bomb in exchange for international sanctions relief. Critics say the agreement makes too many concessions and could eventually allow for a nuclear-armed Iran.

The president counters that the agreement contains the most comprehensive inspection and verification regime ever negotiated to monitor a nuclear program.

  1. Enough. Now its looking like the American Jews need to pick between the president of the US and the PM of Israel.
In the words of POTUS – “we’ve heard this before, There is nothing new to add”. If the agreement is on paper (and the WH web site) there is nothing oral verbiage can change. a)The deal ENDS in 10-15 years when Iran can now become a nuclear threshold state with zero break out time b)Iran gets soon $110 Billion with which it will send missiles and funds for attack tunnels and more to Hamas, Hezbollah and Islamic Jihad. If POTUS promises something why is it better than when Pres Bush WROTE a letter to PM Sharon that existing “realities on the ground” (settlement blocs) need to be taken into account and the POTUS said it is NOT binding.
