13:32: A female terrorist tried stabbing a female soldier in the Afula Central Bus Station a short time ago. The soldier escaped unharmed. The terrorist has been shot dead. More to follow.

13:34: A northern district police spokesman reports a female terrorist tried to stab a female IDF soldier at the entrance to the Afula Central Bus Station. She was carrying a kitchen knife.

The terrorist was shot and moderately wounded, not killed as previously reported. The area remains closed as security forces continue operating on the scene.

13:37: The terrorist was reportedly shot in her abdomen and is being transported to HaEmek Hospital in the city.
