Israel: If Elections Were Held Today


votThe Magar Mochot Institute was commissioned to conduct an election poll to determine how Israelis would vote if elections were held today. The poll shows the ascent of Yair Lapid and the crash of Moshe Kahlon. The poll was released on Thursday morning 18 Shevat on Non-Stop Radio (רדיו ללא הפסקה) on the Nissim Mishaal program. The poll shows that Yesh Atid enjoys a major gain at the expense of the Machane Tzioni and Kulanu parties.

Likud headed by Binyamin Netanyahu maintains its 30 seats. The Machane Tzioni party headed by Yitzchak Herzog, which currently has 24 seats, drop to 18 seats.

Yesh Atid, headed by Yair Lapid, which currently has 11 seats, increases to 18 while the Kulanu party headed by Moshe Kahlon drops from its current 10 seats to a mere 4 seats.

Yisrael Beitenu, headed by Avigdor Lieberman, which currently has 6 seats, increases to 9 and Bayit Yehudi, which currently has 8 seats increases to 9. Shas, which now has 7 seats increases by one to 9.

The Arab List which has 13 seats, Yahadut Hatorah with 6, and Meretz with 5, all maintain their current position.
