Police on Sunday afternoon 5 Adar I received a call for a man armed with a knife in the Talpiot area of Yerushalayim. Conflicting reports cite the location as Liberty Bell Park as well as the Hoss Promenade in Armon HaNatziv.

According to the Jerusalem police spokesman’s report, police arriving on the scene found a Jewish woman in her thirties explaining an Arab youth approached her with a pocketknife, threatening her. She told police the youth passed by her and then returned with the knife in his hand. She explained to police she fought him off and he ran.

Police began a search for the suspect based on her description.
