Rock attacks directed at the Jerusalem light rail are commonplace, almost daily. B’chasdei Hashem in the overwhelming number of cases there is property damage only but on such an attack on Sunday, 12 Adar I, a passenger was lightly injured during the afternoon hours.

The attack occurred close to 14:00 when the train was bombarded with rocks near Shuafat. The injured woman was taken off the train at the next stop, Yekutiel Adam Station.

Two suspects were taken into custody.
