Police on Thursday morning 16 Adar-I stopped a suspicious male on his way to Har Habayis, near the so-called Cotton Merchant’s Gate. As police attempted to check the suspect he attacked them, punching one of them while shouting racist slogans. The policemen restrained him and took him for questioning.
When the suspect arrived at the police station, he once again attacked police and they had to use force to retrain him.
According to the Jerusalem police spokesman report, the suspect appears to be a Jewish male who did not have an identity card on him when arrested.
