PM Netanyahu Decides to Appoint Sam Grundwerg as Consul General in Los Angeles


sgPrime Minister/Foreign Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has decided to appoint Sam Grundwerg as Consul General of Israel in Los Angeles. Since 2010, Grundwerg has served as Director-General of the World Jewish Congress in Israel. Grundwerg is an attorney and previously practiced at an international law firm.

Prior to joining the World Jewish Congress, Mr. Grundwerg, an attorney, practiced law for several years at Greenberg Traurig in Florida.

Mr. Grundwerg received his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law after receiving an M.B.A. degree in finance from the University of Miami School of Business. Mr. Grundwerg received his B.A. degree in Logistics and Social Sciences from Bar-Ilan University.

Before embarking upon a career in law, Mr. Grundwerg worked in finance in Florida and in Israel for large corporations.

Mr. Grundwerg is licensed as an attorney to practice law in Florida, Washington D.C. and in Israel.

Mr. Grundwerg is fluent in both English and Hebrew.
