United Hatzalah reports it received a call on Sunday morning after a three-year-old failed to awaken. The responders immediately began CPR.
The call came in for Brazil Street in the Kiryat Yovel neighborhood of the city. The EMTs were joined by MDA paramedics and despite advanced resuscitation efforts, the physician present pronounced the child dead at the scene.
United Hatzalah EMT Roi Shmuel Zohari reported “When I arrived with other volunteers the child was in cardiac arrest. We began CPR and to my sorrow, he was pronounced dead.
