30 Percent Of Buses Inspected By Police In A Bedouin Community In The Negev Not Road Worthy


mishIsrael Police report that an inspection of buses and vans was conducted in the community of Segev Shalom in the Negev. Segev Shalom is a Bedouin community located close to Beersheva.

The inspection revealed that 30% of the vehicles used to transport people were not road worthy and 56% were in need of serious repairs.

Police checked 32 vehicles and removed 11 from the road immediately due to serious safety issues and another 18 were found to have serious problems that demand immediate attention which their owners are having repaired.
