Howie(צבי יעקב) Z”L was a very special and unique individual. He was someone I knew personally for close to 25 years. He loved to learn Torah and attend Shirium. He had many chavrusos throughout the course of his day. He lived Aibshters Torah. He treated everyone equally, old, young, poor, wealthy,litvush, chasidush. Very rare individual who just loved people and because they were hashems creation. He was a MOKER Rabbonim. He was very close to a lot of Gedloim.

He was extremely bright individual. A big baal atzah. A big בעל חסד and huge בעל צדקה. Everything he did was בהצנע הלכת. He was a very private person in his accomplishments. He would do it without publicizing it. He was very accessible to meet if one needed to speak with him. He loved to help people.

All this was done despite the fact he was a very busy person. He was very humble & unassuming person. Once you got to know him you realized he was a complete איש תם like yakov avinu. When you would speak with him you had his undivided attention. You would think Howie is your best friend and he made you feel that way bec he loved every jew. Like Shlomo Hamelech he was able to relate to all walks of life.

There is no one I know that can say or will say a bad word or thing about Howie. There was only good to say about him.

His wife and kids are very special people.His wife Rozy took care of him as if he was a king. She treated him with the ultimate respect. His sons Mikey and Yisroel follow in both of their footsteps. Howie was a true role model for his family. They are just like him.A chip off the old block.

May Howie Z”L be a mailetz yosher for his entire family and klal yisroel. May his wife and kids continue to follow in his footsteps. May we all see the geulah redemption in the near future
