Rabbis of ‘Derech Emunah’ Have No Faith In Promises Made By Government Officials

1Rabbonim affiliated with the Derech Emunah organization are not feeling any more confident as a result of promises from government officials, who insist they will look after the well-being of Amona expellees. Unfortunately, since Ariel Sharon implemented the 2005 expulsion from Gaza under the guise of a “Disengagement”, many Jews have been evicted from communities such as Migron in the Binyamin area of the Shomron.

Among the rabbonim expressing concern are HaRav Dov Lior Shlita, Jerusalem Chief Rabbi Aryeh Stern Shlita, Shomron Chief Rabbi Elyakim Levanon Shlita, Rabbi Baruch Efrati Shlita and Rabbi David Chai HaKohen Shlita. These rabbonim are not at ease, in fact they remain quite concerned regarding the future for Amona residents.

The rabbonim conclude that the deal made between the political parties in the government does nothing whatsoever to alleviate their fears and concerns for the well-being of the residents of Amona who are about to evicted.

  1. Hey, Rabbis, excuse me. What did you write in item 2 ? that the land was stolen from us by force? but didn’t we also take it by force from the Plishtim?

This is a misrepresentation of the truth, with a ‘Rabbinic’ signature…

The ONLY claim we have is that the creator said it’s ours. But he also linked it on condition we run it and govern it by Torah law – which we unfortunately do not. And these are the people that don’t lend much help battling government Chillul Shabbos etc. etc.
