Northern district police reported a vehicular accident occurred on Rt. 75 between Migdal HaEmek and Yafia on Wednesday morning 20 Teves.

A bus and private vehicle collided head-on about a half kilometer before Yafia.

The driver of the private vehicle was seriously injured.

The bus driver was injured, albeit not seriously and did not require transport by ambulance.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

Magen David Adom reports the driver of the private vehicle, a male in his 50s, was transported by chopper to the trauma unit of Rambam Medical Center in Haifa in serious condition with multisystem trauma.
