The JWE Announces Fourth Annual Women’s Business Conference

JWE logo 2017The Jewish Woman Entrepreneur (JWE) is thrilled to announce its 4th Annual Business Conference. We expect this year’s event to be the most successful one yet, bringing Jewish businesswomen together from around the country. The conference will take place Sunday, February 12th at the Conference Center at 111 Wood Avenue South, Iselin, NJ 08830.

The JWE conference is an unparalleled opportunity for Jewish businesswomen to learn, access industry leaders and JWE mentors, and network in an environment of shared values. Last year’s conference was hugely successful, attended by over 400 women from across the Unites States and Canada. With this year’s event we will build on that incredible momentum and focus on targeted growth in specific industries. Topics range from fundamentals in digital marketing, integrity of your product and service, resilience in the face of adversity, plus practical tips for navigating and leveraging one’s talents. Speakers will also cover maintaining quality control, determining when to scale, taking a product to market, and so much more.

Our exciting line-up of keynote speakers, spanning a wide range of industries– includes Joyce Azria from BCBG and Avec Les Filles, an industry leader in the fashion world; Toby Moskovits, a real estate mogul at Heritage Equity Partners; Inna Kern, a marketing veteran, whose resume features stints at Johnson & Johnson, Martha Stewart and AOL; the Zeitelman sisters who founded the incredible Soom Foods brand– carried in Whole Foods and hundreds of other stores, and many more.

Attendees represent a wide range of fields and diverse experiences as well as career stages; the conference agenda has content for everyone. Women who are launching their first startups, or taking their business to its next stage, will have the unique opportunity to learn alongside experienced executives and create valuable connections. A number of well-established professionals will be present to meet one-on- one with attendees, giving them the opportunity to obtain practical, relevant tools to grow and expand their businesses and create valuable mentorship opportunities.

The theme of this 2017 conference is Business as Community; Creating a New Paradigm Together. Throughout the day, participants will be encouraged to explore the different ways that their businesses can serve as a platform for giving, and how their businesses can grow when they make giving back a priority and part of their overall business model.

This year, we will debut an exciting new element – The Collaboratory. The Collaboratory is an interactive roundtable, where participants and their peers explore a hot topic relating to their business, moderated by an industry leader. The Collaboratory is all about idea exchange and problem solving with fellow entrepreneurs. Participants can choose among such topics as– tips when working from home, building a solid team, quality control and manufacturing products, exploring new revenue streams for your business, taking your business online, legal pitfalls to avoid– and so much more.

The 2017 JWE conference is sponsored by Ariela and Associates International, Withum Audit and Tax Advisory, and Miles & Stockbridge, P.C.
