In what is being described as an “anti-Semitic act”, the Kohanim Bridge at the tziyun of Rav Nachman in Uman is being dismantled by municipality officials. City workers escorted by police arrived to get the job done.

The bridge as established about a decade ago to accommodate the thousands of kohanim that visit during the year, as well as on Rosh Hashanah.

  1. The Jews should stop going to Uman. The disgusting Ukrainians are so antisemitic they will cut off their noses to spite their ugly faces. They don’t deserve our Jewish money that they all live on and wait for the whole year.

  2. #1 may be right and the article may be right, it may be an “anti semitic” action. On the other hand it may just be that those who erected the bridge did so without the required planning consents being obtained and without any engineers approval. Maybe YWN could investigate those aspects and add the information to the story. It is very easy to cry “anti semitism” but it is foolish to do so unless it can be seriously backed up, which doesn’t mean proved beyond doubt but just backed up with some evidence.
