The Satmar Rebbitzen is in critical condition, and the family has been rushed to her bedside, YWN has learned. The Rebbitzen, who is the wife of the previous Satmar Rebbe ZATZAL, known as the Beirach Moshe, has not been well for many years.
She was taken to Beth Israel Hospital in Manhattan on Wednesday morning, and her condition has deteriorated throughout the day, and late Wednesday evening, her blood pressure dropped.
All her children are currently at the hospital (12:46AM EST) at her bedside reciting Tehillim.
Her name is Pesel Leah bas Chaya.
