Hatzolah Finds Child In Forest After Going Missing In Krasna Camp

(Sunday, June 27th, 2010)

Monticello, NY – Catskills Hatzolah was dispatched to Krasna Camp on Anawana Lake Road for a child missing on Sunday afternoon.

The missing child was reported to be a 3 year old.

Numerous Hatzolah units were dispatched, and a search was put into place by Catskills Hhatzolah Coordinator, R’ Boruch Gibs. The Sullivan County Sheriff Department was activated as well.

Hatzolah members searched every bungalow in the camp, and after coming up empty handed, they entered the forest behind the camp.

Shortly after searching in the woods, the good news came that the child was found by Hatzolah members, and was in Boruch Hashem good condition.

    WATCH YOUR KIDS!!! Stop gossiping by the pool, shmoozing with your neighbor on the deck, or snoozing under a tree. Kids wander off! Fences & boundaries in the country are few & far between. Gates get left open, & the road is yards away.

    Summer hasn’t officially started, bigger kids are leaving for camp today. PLEASE…drive carefully & WATCH YOUR KIDS!
