About 75 firefighters from seven departments were called to battle a firery blaze at the Blueberry Hill apartments at Route 306 and Kearsing Parkway.

A police officer was taken to Nyack Hospital for exhaustion, but no injuries among firefighters or residents were reported.

The fire started about 7:30 p.m. About an hour later, officials said the roof was partially collapsed.
