If it’s detectable, it is a concern. Dental xrays are “nothing” but still the technician stands behind a wall. Is this like we are experiencing the equivalent of a dental xray 24/7?

I am not sure if the article is implying 15 states along the East Coast found radiation or if 15 states have radiation and some was found on the East Coast in addition to the others in other parts of the country. What is the story for NY and NJ?
