Keeping it under wraps did not hurt him: the only people in a tizzy about it were people who would never, in a million years, consider voting for him. And it put a LOT of Republican politicians in a bad spot, forced to choose between questioning the President’s eligibility and insinuating that some of their constituents had lost their minds.

On the other hand, the tizzy that those people were in convinced a LOT of moderate democrats and independents that the Right had gone completely crackers, which resulted in more of them voting for him.

Pretty good strategy, all being said and done.

Now, let’s see if the Right can learn from their mistakes and not go in another frenzy about how they think it might be fake. Cause if they do that, it will have played into Obama’s hands yet again…

I find it mysterious that someone would say that Sarah Obama (who was the person your referring to even though you garbled the story,) was dead when she isn’t. For that matter Barack Obama is 49 years old, any woman who could have been his grandmother would need to be almost 90.

One of the world’s biggest experts in computer imagery analyzed Obama’s “certificate” and compared it to an actual one issued in Hawaii in 1964, and he found major discrepancies between the two. He blew it up at some 30000% and saw certain watermarks in the Hawaiian one that didn’t exist in Obama’s.

Also, don’t you find it mysteriously strange that just five days after his grandmother’s famous “blooper” of “I remember being at my daughter’s bedside in Kenya when she gave birth to Barak”, the not-so-old grandmother died?

It took so long because the issue is not hot enough or credible enough to kill his polls, but settling the matter as candidates are revving up their engines can hurt the opponents. Simple politics.

Dont you agree if right away when people asked for it, just show the certificate. no, he has to go and spend millions to hide it? he could have stopped a whole ruckus. some people have strange ideas.

Until now I was on the fence. Now I believe 99.5% that he was born in Hawaii.

But why wait so long? I reckon he did this to destroy the Republican party.
