if he was prescribed all this medication, he had to be under a Psychiatrist’s care therefore if his own doctor did NOT diagnose him as insane, they are not going to be able to use that as a plea.

I cannot believe the story that a lawyer bowed out because he could not in good conscience plead the case. That is not an acceptable legal reason for bowing out. A lawyer can bow out because he lives to far from his client or he has become a witness in the case, but becoming convinced of the guilt of his client does not help. A lawyer can get disbarred for such action.

He came from an abusive home. Someone has to plead the case – even in the Beis Din Shel Maalah there also has to be a defender, a sanegor.

I heard that he was psychologically tested and the Drs can not figure out what’s wrong with him which means that it is probably a put on, on Levi Aaron’s part.

It would seem from here that the claim of insanity fell through! (The testing was already done, but the results weren’t made public, but I’m sure his lawyers know the results.)

Why would an insanity plea be an injustice (if that’s what he really was)?? The man would still be taken out of society
The problem is people are looking for ‘justice’ to the legal system rather than HKB’H
