8:15AM EST: 22nd Street and 20th Avenue – two homes have just reportedly exploded and are leveled to the ground. Multiple victims are reported to be trapped in the basements – some injured seriously. Numerous homes have been damaged from the force of the explosion as well. This is reported to be a gas explosion – as officials report a heavy odor of gas still in the area.

UPDATE 8:43AM EST: One fatality is now being confirmed. An additional 5 patients have been transported to area hospitals.
