Wednesday marks seven years since the assassination of Tourism Minister Rechavam Ze’evi, a retired IDF major-general and a strong proponent of a Greater Eretz Yisrael.
A special Knesset memorial session is scheduled to get underway at 1:00pm followed by the official memorial in Har Herzl Cemetery, at his kever, at 3:00pm.
Ze’evi was shot at point blank range by a PFLP terrorist in Jerusalem’s then Hyatt Regency Hotel in the Mount Scopus area of the capital.
