12:02PM EST: The FDNY has just transmitted a 3rd Alarm for a large fire in an apartment building located at 84-70 129th Street near Metropolitan Avenue. The fire is reported on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. There are reported to be people trapped on the upper floors.
UPDATE 12:15PM EST: The FDNY Division Chief on the scene has now requested a 4th Alarm response for “heavy fire” on numerous floors of the building.
UPDATE 1:10PM EST: FDNY reports that all occupants have been accounted for, and the fire has been placed under control at this time. Additionally, there are two people in critical condition, with a total of 12 people injured.
