10:30AM EST: The FDNY is on the scene of a second alarm fire in Bensonhurst, and are reporting a fatality.
The fire was in an apartment building located on 70th Street near 19th Avenue.
The identity of the victim has not been made as of this posting.
The fire has been placed under control.
