Rock-Throwing Attack Injures One On Har Habayis


A Jewish visitor to Har Habayis was lightly injured on Sunday morning 17 Sivan when a rock was thrown at him from inside al-Aqsa Mosque.

Police confirm the attack, adding visitation to the holy site will continue despite the attack. Police add that as per instructions from the Jerusalem police chief, Muslim worshipers are banned following the attack as the search for the attacker continues.

Police on Sunday afternoon announced that two PA (Palestinian Authority) residents were arrested in the attack, adding their arrests were made due to assistance in the probe from Waqf Authority personnel.

Gedolei Yisrael over the generations and the Chief Rabbinate of Israel prohibit visiting Har Habayis.
