WATCH: Family Wishes To Know Why More Isn’t Being Done In Kineret Search By Authorities

The family of Natan Hajani, the young man who drowned in the Kineret on erev Shabbos, accuses the authorities of not doing enough. His mother-in-law has made a video in which she calls on authorities to do more to find him. “My daughter is on the verge of collapse” she explains, “And I am begging divers or anyone who can bring my son-in-law from the water please do so. There is nothing going on and they see we are quiet”.

Making it worse, she recalls the tragedy her daughter already endured when her father drowned before her eyes. “My daughter has already had a trauma a number of years ago seeing her father down. She waited years to get married and now her husband has drowned”.

Rescue agencies on Monday morning 25 Sivan insist the search continues today, as it did a day earlier. Divers of the police department’s northern district team continue working. They also praise the assistance from Zaka divers, who have been searching for days as well to recovering the body and bringing the niftar to kvuras yisrael.

  1. Whilst I fully comprehend this mother’s serious concern of her daughter remaining an Agunah R’L, what really needs to be done by the authorities is to review the entire safety & guidelines of swimming & wading & waddling in the Kineret.
