DM Lieberman Visits Soldiers Wounded In Gaza Border Bomb Attack


Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman on Tuesday, 5 Adar, visited the IDF soldiers wounded in Friday’s bomb attack. Lieberman told the soldiers, “We are proud of you. We will hold accountable those responsible for placing the bomb there, as well as those who sent them.”

Lieberman arrived at Soroka Hospital on Tuesday, escorted by hospital Director Dr. Shlomi Kodesh, Chief of the General Intensive Care Unit Prof. Moti Klein and Chief of Ophthalmology Prof. Tova Lifshitz. They briefed Lieberman on the condition of the soldiers.

Lieberman had words of praise for IDF soldiers, who stand guard on the nation’s borders, explaining to the wounded he came to Soroka after visiting the Gaza border area where he was briefed on the attack by senior commanders.

Dr. Kodesh: “The Soroka Medical Center is trained and well-polished in treating the wounded from the Gaza Strip. The hospital staff will continue to provide the necessary medical care in order to bring about their recovery.
