IDF Soldier Attacked After Entering Meah Shearim


An IDF soldier was attacked on Monday afternoon, 7 Sivan, after entering Meah Shearim in a vehicle. Objects were hurled at his vehicle shortly before 1:00PM. He phoned the police explaining the situation, and that he was on Haran Street. Dozens of extremists began hurling objects at the vehicle.

Police arrived, with some making their way to the vehicle, escorting him out to additional waiting police. Police then began trying to identify persons who participated in the attack.

Police officials released a statement they will not tolerated attacks against uniformed persons and will continue with a hard hand policy against those responsible for such attacks.

B’chasdei Hashem, there are no reports of injuries.

  1. Look I know there are negative comments coming but this a small minority and chas veshalom to focus on everyone. Unfortunately the police get very negative feelings torward all chareidim because of this minority. They must be behind bars asap for everyone’s sake!
